Details
The Tidioute Cutlery #77 Yankee Jack by Great Eastern Cutlery is a traditional styled knife pattern with exceptional fit and finish. The knife boasts two blades, a primary spear and secondary pen, both produced of frozen forged and hammer tested 1095 carbon steel. As this GEC 77 pattern is a part of the Tidioute brand family, the blades have been satin finished. Strong backsprings and pronounced half stops are nods to GEC's functional detail.
A stunning smooth Orange Osage Wood handle has been attached to brass liners with brass pin construction. The liners are met seamlessly with the wood, nickel silver bolsters and full length backsprings. A simple, yet classic shaped nickel silver bolster adorns the frontside of the handle as well.
Great Eastern knives are packaged in a unique tube packaging and wrapped in wax paper to help protect the carbon blades during shipping and storage. A light coating of oil will be necessary to maintain the blade over time.
