Details

The Tidioute #66 Calf Roper from Great Eastern Cutlery is a timeless classic when it comes to gentleman's folding knives. Three useful blades are built into a compact, pocket friendly package featuring grippy Antique Autumn Jigged Bone scales and bow tie-styled shield.

Brand new item directly from Great Eastern Cutlery.

The Blades: Your primary user accessed from the front is a regular clip with just over two inches of cutting edge, upper swedged and satin finished. Its nail puller opens easily located near center to the spine's point. Flip the knife over and you'll find access to two more blades should they prove more task appropriate or sharper than the primary. The center blade is a handy little sheepfoot with just over 1.5 inches of sharpened edge. Again, a nice easy pull on this one. The final blade lined up closest to the back liner just might be the coolest. It is a spey point blade offering the utility of a drop style combined with a reinforced piercing tip.

The Handle: Flawless brass liner construction for the #66 closed in by polished nickel silver bolsters at each end. Between those is some jig textured, handsomely earthy antique autumn bone. A scale of each is pinned to the liners on both sides meeting up with the bolsters to perfection. An art really, still setting the standard by Great Eastern. The only accent being a flush nickel silver bow tie shield offset on the front scale.

This gentleman-ly piece ships rolled up in wax paper inside its shipping tube with company information on the front.
