The Field Marshall flipper is a large, hard-worker designed and perfected by Todd Begg built to the strictest standards by David Deng of Reate Knives. Part of the Steelcraft Series, the Field Marshall is well-balanced and is much lighter than most knives in the large folder category.
The Blade: A big swooping drop point with 3.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge excellent for daily tasks and then some. This version has a hand satin finish for horizontal lines and upper swedges. Begg's signature cutout groove runs down the entire flat as a cool accent while helping to lighten the load. This blade rides harmoniously on an IKBS Ceramic bearings system for velvety flipping action. No wrist-action necessary. Simply pull down on the integral flipper tab and watch it fly!
The Handle: Crafted with precision from titanium, contoured, machined and anodized for a look you won't find any place else. All edges on this piece are rounded for ultimate comfort with machined texturing aiding in grip. This version features a blue/silver two-toned finish with feathered silver titanium backspacer. The frame lock has a steel insert on the lockface for effortless, confident operation. It doubles as a lock over travel preventor. The final touch is a single position two-toned clip for tip up carry with ceramic bearing retention.
Don't be fooled by the Field Marshall's good looks, this flipper's for real. It's tough and ready to prove it! It would be right home with the avid outdoorsman or tactical operator. This is brand new direct from Begg Knives.
