Description

The Buck and Tops collaboration knife, known as the CSAR-T or Combat Search and Rescue Tool, has been made into a more price efficient version called the CSAR-T Avid. The design remains the same as the original with a hefty stainless steel frame handle and reliable liner locking blade. On the Avid model, the blade is composed of 420HC stainless steel that has received a Zirblast finish. Dual thumb studs make access of the blade quick and simple, while jimping along the spine of the blade where the thumb rests adds control. In place of the G10 scales of the original, thick santoprene rubber handle scales have been attached to the frame with torx screws and also aid in a secure and controlled grip. A hex bit compatible handle cutout is found at the butt end of the knife. This model is designed to be carried in the included fully MOLLE compatible high grade nylon sheath. Made in USA.
