James Behring (Treeman Knives)

Treeman Knives was started by Jim “Treeman” Bhering several years ago in Romeo, Michigan. Jim always loved and respected the outdoors and became an avid fisher and hunter as he grew. He began working in a forging die shop, where he received most of his experience, at 16 years old and worked there for 13 years. He is well known for his work with scagel styled knives and camp axes. Jim earned the nickname “Treeman” while he worked as a timber clearer. His knives are each made to very specific quality standards, one of a kind and made to last a lifetime.
