The Viper Knives Ten Flipper features every day quality and innovation at your finger tips. Designed by Fabrizio Silvestrelli, the Ten offers a drop point styled blade crafted from premium Bohler N690Co stainless steel. At just over three inches, the Ten's blade has a gorgeous satin finish, upper swedge grind, hair popping edge and a little jimping on the thumb ramp to control cutting tasks. The moderate detent makes for quick flipping action as the blade glides along its stainless thrust bearings pivot mechanism. CNC machined Burgundy Canvas Micarta handles reveal perhaps the most interesting component of the Ten, a hybrid spring lock mechanism. The lock itself is more of a sub-frame lock style built from hardened steel with a 6Al4V titanium spring liner for maximum elasticity. Three screws on the lock can be adjusted over time to keep the Ten at peak performance no matter the wear. Final touches on the Ten include a gray Titanium back spacer, flippable AISI 420 tempered stainless steel deep carry tip up pocket clip and AISI 303 steel screws. Blade is vacuum and cryogenic heat treated to hardness of 57/59. The Viper Ten in Burgundy Micarta is brand new direct from Viper Knives.
