The Blade: Aggressive hawkbill, check. Razor sharp and pointy, check. Fast, easy to open, premium blade steel. Check, check and check. The 708 has it all. This S35VN piercer has a black-stonewashed finish as not to show too much wear and just over two inches of scary sharp cutting edge. The premium steel will hold a good edge, is less prone to chipping and should be easier to keep sharp than most. It deploys two ways. You can give the jimped integral flipper tab that slightly protrudes out the back of the handle a tug or utilize the thumb hole cut out out in the flats. Either way, this talon flies out of its nest in a flash thanks to a ceramic ball bearings pivot system. If fast is what you look for in a karambit, the 708 is at the top. Nearly an inch of jimped thumb ramp flows perfectly with the handle ergo's. Comfort and deployment done right.

The Handle: Full titanium construction, black finished, contoured and textured to meet your every need. The finger grooves and ring at the end make a great grip. It's arched slightly the way you'd want it with the strength of a full titanium backspacer. The single piece Ti spacer/ring combo forms a strong backbone with multi-tasking in mind. The size is right on. Not too big, not too small. It should fit well in the majority of hands. A rock solid frame locker mechanism with steel lockface insert will keep that blade open with confidence no matter what you put it through. The inner workings of the Ti have milled pockets on both sides to reduce the carry weight. Strength to weight ratio and balance are off the charts with the 708. Construction is completed with all bronze anodized titanium hardware and black tip up carry titanium pocket clip.
