The Zero Tolerance 0460 manual opening Flipper is designed by Belarusian knife maker Dmitry Sinkevich. The popular 0450 got some curves based on Dmitry's Polychotky Jr. model. In the office or in the field, this classy knife has the looks and ability to go anywhere you go.
Brand new directly from Zero Tolerance.
The Blade: Made from CPM S35VN for additional toughness, the upswept persian-styled blade has a two-tone finish. Stonewased flats and machine satin grinds give the 0460 a custom feel. The knife deploys swiftly on the KVT Bearing Pivot System, so it is ready to go when you need it.
The Handle: The titanium frame lock with hardened steel lock face insert is stonewashed and curved to fit into the hollow of the hand well. A bronze weave carbon fiber scale is partially 3D machined and helps keep this knife light coming in at less than 3 oz. A matte black anodized aluminum backspacer makes it a gentleman's tactical folder. The stainless steel pocket clip is single position right, tip-up carry and black Teflon coated.
CPM S35VN: Stainless steel designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish and its chemistry helps to form some niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides. The addition of niobium carbides makes the steel about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance.
