Description
Zero Tolerance 0777 Limited Edition is Blade Show 2011's Overall Knife of the Year, and for good reason. The 3-D sculpted handle scales are crafted from woven carbon fiber making it stronger than steel, yet ultra-lightweight. The composite blade, consisting of 2 different steels, starts with Bohler's Vanax 35 stainless steel on the cutting edge. The spine consists of Devin Thomas stainless exotic herringbone Damascus providing an all-stainless steel performance. A built-in flipper deploys the blade using the KVT(Kershaw Velocity Technology) Opening System for silky smooth manual opening. Instead of a standard pivot hinge, the KVT has ball bearings at the pivot point. Pull back on the ambidextrous blade protrusion, the ball bearings rotate, and the blade glides out of the handle quickly and easily. One side of the handle is fitted with a titanium inset plate integral to the frame that provides an extremely sturdy lockup. The sub-frame lock has an adjustable screw that allows the user to tighten the lock to compensate for wear over time. Features a 3-D machined titanium pocket clip and backspacer. Made in USA.
