The sheath is a versatile leather pouch sheath with drop loop and ferro rod holder because a fixed blade knife is only as good as its carry system. Blade: Satin finished CPM-3V is delivered in a utilitarian drop point profile blade with a high saber grind in place of the traditional Scandi grind. While being a bit less suited for fine slicing, the high saber grind is easily maintained with standard, North American sharpening practices and delivers a good balance of durability and cutting performance. With a wider profile than the Puukko, the Leuku blade is heavier and more robust making it suited to handle heavy use like batoning while still being functional for skinning or rough carving tasks.

Handle: As with the Puukko, the Leuku comes with textured Ranger Green Santroprene handle featuring a reptilian cross-cut pattern delivering rubberized traction in any grip or condition. A hollow tube at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment on this simple, ergonomic and comfortable handle. Well-designed and executed, the Leuku is ready for serious, extended use.

Sheath: Carries via a black leather pouch sheath with dangler and ferro rod loop.

CPM 3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
