Benchmade 556 Mini Griptilian CPM-M4 GP Exclusive Prototype #1

The Benchmade M4 Mini Griptilian Prototype is a first version production of the 2013 GP Knives 556 Exclusive Run. Black glass-filled Nylon handles and Grey Cerakote coated CPM M4 sure is a tasty combo.  Brand new direct from the Benchmade Factory - Stored in Collection - Mint

The Blade: Composed of CPM M4, the blade has been ground to a modified drop point with plain edge and grey ceramic coating. The non-reflective coating compliments the black handle and protects the blade steel from undesirable elements.  Excellent edge retention, toughness and wear resistance are the stand-outs of this steel.  Dual thumb studs allow for deployment of the blade in quick fashion and the Axis lock holds it firmly in place when opened.

The Handle: While the upgraded blade will surely enthuse both collectors and users, the traditional handle is blacked out featuring the well-known diamond texturing for grip and comfort.  The simple ergonomics are the same as the original Mini Grip with all black hardware, even down to the inset liners. The patented Axis Lock mechanism allows for easy disengagement with either hand without placing fingers in the blade path.  A small lanyard hole for attachment. 

Attached black clip can be reversed for right or left handed tip up carry making this knife truly ambidextrous.
