BlackFox and Fox Knives brings us the second generation Bean folder designed by custom maker Serge Panchenko. The Gen 2 Bean is a compact slip joint with detent ball operation that makes for smooth, one-hand operation. The pill shaped design of the handle is maintained even when the blade is closed making for a very compact package for carry. This version comes with a stonewash finished 440C blade with matching stonewash stainless steel handles.

Blade: A modified Sheepsfoot blade is made from 440C stainless steel in a stonewash finish and offers good edge retention, corrosion resistance. t=The saber grind delivers durability making this a highly utilitarian design. A large oval hole facilitates smooth, one-hand deployment with a detent slip joint for secure, non-locking operation.
Handle: Two stonewash finished stainless steel slabs and a single barrel spacer form the simple, robust frame of the Bean. The front has a cutout to access the blade hole and a milled BlackFox logo. The reverse has a sprung detent bar that delivers the slip joint operation. The back has a laser etched Serge Panchenko logo and single position steel pocket clip.
Carries via a right hand, tip-up stainless steel pocket clip.
