Custom knife maker Brad Zinker is back again with another excellent collaboration with Boker knives. Evolving his popular Urban Trapper design Boker is now offering a production lock back version with the same high performance, Japanese VG-10 stainless steel blade, titanium liners and slim, ultralight and ergonomic design. This version comes with Cocobolo wood handle scales. The modern traditional Urban Trapper back lock makes a great option where two-hand opening is required by law.

Blade: Long and slender, the clip point blade of the Urban Trapper is made from satin finished VG-10 stainless steel for well-balanced performance. Milled on front of the blade is a large, oval nail nick for traditional two-hand opening. A shallow hollow grind paired with the nearly full length swedge and narrow blade offer excellent slicing, piercing and detail cutting performance. Over three inches of cutting edge in a sub-2 ounce package is tough to beat for EDC.

Handle: Much like the flipper version, the lock back Urban Trapper has a slim yet ergonomic handle for ease of carry and comfort in use. A stainless steel back spacer is housed inside proud titanium liners which are acid stonewashed on the faces and satin finished on the edges for a subtle two-tone look. Handsome Cocobolo wood scales are supported by the liners and offer a comfortable grip and stylish look. The back lock mechanism is easy to operate while providing solid and reliable lockup for secure use. A lockable nylon zipper pouch is included for storage and transport.

Japanese VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC. A popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance VG10 works well with a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance.
