Stainless steel liners and solid G10 scales provide balanced weight for fast handling and a compound ground D2 tool steel blade offers solid cutting performance, durability and ease of maintenance. This small version comes with black G10 handle scales and a satin finished, compound ground, harpoon blade.

Blade: Compound ground, satin finished D2 tool steel gives the 3.5 inch harpoon blade excellent durability balanced with cutting performance. The flat ground tip pairs with the harpoon swedge to deliver excellent piercing performance while the saber ground section of the blade offers a strong blade for slicing cuts. Balanced weight makes for fast, smooth operation thanks to bearings at the pivot points.

Handle: Stainless steel liners create a solid foundation for the contoured G10 handle scales. The liners are proud to the scales for a more contoured feel while "X" milling adds traction for indexing and a secure grip. At under 3.5 ounces this is a reliable cutting tool well suited to EDC. A spring latch keeps the knife securely open or closed and stays out of the way when cycling the blade.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
