The Aphex Mini is a more affordable version of the limited production Aphex retaining the same functional design and stylish looks in a more carry friendly platform. This one is outfitted with a satin blade and red marble carbon fiber inlaid titanium.

Blade: A ball bearing pivot gives the spear like VG10 blade fast flipper deployment and smooth operation. The jimped thumb ramp and index flipper guard provide added safety in use, while dual fullers lend a stylish appeal to the practical blade.

Handle: Blasted gray titanium handle construction is tough and utilitarian with subtle milled details and striking red marbled carbon fiber inlays for style and weight reduction. Equipped with a steel lock face, the integral frame lock is smooth, solid, and reliable for safe use.

VG10: Japanese Takefu VG10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a fine edge and holds it well. Often hardened to 60-61 HRC in high-end kitchen knives, edge retention and toughness are on par with 440C with better corrosion resistance. A solid choice for small pocket knives, an acute, high polished edge delivers optimal slicing performance.
