Designed by custom maker Lucas Burnley, the Kwaiken legacy continues with the Boker Plus Kwaiken Air delivers this iconic design in a more slimmed down, lightweight carry platform with the same great style and performance. This version comes with a hand rubbed satin VG10 stainless steel blade and black G10 handle scales.

Blade: The iconic Kwaiken blade profile is delivered with 3.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge paired with a high saber grind and spine swedge. Slimmed down in both height and thickness, the 2.5 mm VG10 stainless steel blade is a piercing and slicing powerhouse while retaining solid durability. The ball bearing pivot delivers fast, smooth, one-hand deployment via the index flipper.

Handle: Proud stainless liners support contoured, smooth black G10 handle scales for a slim, lightweight and ergonomic handle design that is surprisingly secure thanks to the distal taper design. Scales and liners deliver a stylish two-tone look with the rear liner cut into the locking mechanism which is smooth, reliable and secure in operation. Satin hardware and a partial back spacer rounds out the construction.

Carries via a right hand, tip up, stainless steel deep carry clip. 

Japanese VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC. A popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance, VG10 works well with a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance.
