Exceptionally slim, the Boker Plus Kyoto is a modern, lightweight gentleman's knife inspired by the lines of traditional stilettos with a more utilitarian style. Coming in at just over 2 ounces the Kyoto provides nearly 3.5 inches of razor sharp, hollow ground cutting edge and fast, bearing driven flipper deployment. This version comes with 3D milled G10 handle scales, horizontal satin D2 blade, 3D milled titanium pocket clip.

Blade: A classic drop point blade is delivered in a horizontal satin finished, hollow ground D2 for a striking look and excellent cutting performance. Riding on a ball bearing pivot the blade deploys fast and smooth via the jimped flipper tab which functions as an index guard when deployed. Closed the blade rides entirely in the handle for a low-profile carry.

Handle: Slim, textured G10 has been 3D milled for ergonomic comfort and weight reduction. A single inset stainless steel liner forms the locking mechanism for smooth operation and secure lockup. A single barrel spacer creates and easy to maintain, open back construction and allows for lanyard attachment. The clip rests in one of the milled sections reducing pressure in the grip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
