With an innovative magnetic slip operation the Boker Plus L'Egg is a discreet carry option with utility, comfort and plenty of fidget factor. Designer John Kubasek created this minimalist folder utilizing a non-locking design that has both scales and blade rotating from the pivot for a knife that is as low-profile as it is functional. The L'Egg has black G10 scales and a satin finished D2 tool steel blade.

Blade: At under 1.5" the non-locking clip point blade offers just enough blade for utility task while being legal for carry in most areas. Hollow ground D2 tool steel delivers long-lasting cutting performance.

Handle: Two oval G10 scales form the surprisingly comfortable handle equipped with a magnet for secure carry and use. Simply rotate the top scale clockwise to open and reverse to close. A steel loop allows for lanyard or ball chain attachment.

Carries via steel ball chain. No clip.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
