Details

Raphaël Durand is one of the most sought-after custom knife makers in France and the Boker Boxer is reflective of his handmade pieces that command premium prices with his books always full. This makes the release of his most popular Boxer model by Boker Solingen even more exciting. This burly back lock is outfitted with a Bohler N690 blade, grooved stainless steel bolsters and Desert Ironwood covers.

Brand new, direct from Boker Knives.

Blade: The German made, Bohler N690 stainless steel blade has a beautifully sweeping clip point blade with an elegant top swedge and fine satin finish. There is no nail nick on the blade, common on Durand designs, but the blade is easily opened by pinching the blade spine and pulling to open. It comes razor sharp so use caution.

Handle: A classic, Mediterranean influenced backlock, the Boxer is equipped with stainless steel bolsters with Raphaël's signature groove. The scales consist of exquisite and durable desert ironwood supported by stainless steel liners. The lock is jimped for easy disengagement and a hollow steel pin is provided for lanyard attachment.

The Boxer does not include a pocket clip.

Bohler N690: Bohler N690 is a conventionally produced stainless steel with Cobalt and Vanadium added giving it performance at or above VG-10. This steel is very stainless, has good edge retention, is relatively easy to sharpen and takes a fine, razor edge. For every day carry and use N690 delivers excellent performance.
