Blade: Durand's beautifully sweeping clip point blade is executed in custom hand forged stainless Damascus steel from Chad Nichols for a striking look and modern performance. There is no nail nick on the blade, common on Durand designs, but the blade is easily opened by pinching the blade spine and pulling to open with moderate slip joint tension and a solid half stop for security.

Handle: A classic, Mediterranean influenced folder, the Boxer has raw copper liners and pins with scales of sculpted 5500-year-old bog oak wood, a semi-petrified wood that is very dense with a dark, rich look and velvety feel. Copper complements the dark wood and will develop a unique patina over time with carry and use. A hollow pin allows for lanyard attachment.
