Boker Solingen Durand Boxer Dragonskin Damascus Red Jute Micarta Back Lock 111025DAM
Raphaël Durand is one of the most sought-after custom knife makers in France and the Boker Boxer is reflective of his handmade pieces that command premium prices with his books always full. This makes the release of his most popular Boxer model by Boker Solingen even more exciting. This version comes with a hand forged Dragonskin Damascus blade and red jute (burlap) Micarta covers and brushed stainless steel bolsters. Includes serial number, noble floating display, and certificate of authenticity.
Brand new, direct from Boker Knives.
Blade: Made by Bertie Rietveld, the first South African Damascus smith, the dark, Dragonskin Damascus blade has a beautifully sweeping clip point blade with an elegant top swedge complementing the striking look of the Damascus pattern. There is no nail nick on the blade, common on Durand designs, but the blade is easily opened by pinching the blade spine and pulling to open. It comes razor sharp so use caution.
Handle: A classic, Mediterranean influenced back lock, the Boxer is equipped with stainless steel bolsters with Raphaël's signature groove. The scales are polished red jute (burlap) Micarta supported by stainless steel liners and have a stunning visual appeal that complements the blade. The lock is jimped for easy disengagement and a hollow steel pin is provided for lanyard attachment.
The Boxer does not include a pocket clip.
Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look.
