With everyday carry in mind the Boxer EDC forgoes bolsters and liners for a simple, self-supporting construction with slip joint operation. This version comes with an acid washed M390 blade and black canvas Micarta handles.

Blade: The beautifully sweeping clip point blade has a pronounced and elegant top swedge and is made from acid washed and tumbled Bohler M390 with a cryo treatment for premium performance. There is no nail nick on the blade, common on Durand designs, but the blade is easily opened by pinching the blade spine and pulling to open. A high height saber grind pairs with the razor sharp edge for balanced durability and performance.

Handle: A classic, Mediterranean influenced slip joint, the Boxer EDC has a stainless steel back spring and rugged black canvas Micarta handle scales attached with brass pins. Contoured for comfort, the handles are secure in the grip with a hollow tube for lanyard attachment. The knife has snappy walk and talk on the back spring with a solid 90 degree half-stop for safety.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its exceptional edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is the ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
