Bradford Knives has brought their singular design process and refined construction into the kitchen with their 8" Chef knife. This Chef knife offers a classic French-style cutting tool with modern materials and construction. This version comes in high performance Bohler M390 with a stonewashed finish, micro textured 3D black G10 handle scales and black oxide stainless steel hardware.

Blade: Full tang construction on the 8" Chef provides durability and balance in the hand. A 2.5 mm blade stock with full flat grind and distal taper offer top end slicing performance while the premium Bohler M390 steel delivers excellent corrosion resistance and a long wearing edge for food prep in the kitchen or in the field. Just under 7.5" of cutting edge is plenty to handle all but the largest tasks. A stonewashed finish looks good while hiding any wear from use.

Handle: 3D contoured black G10 scales are ergonomically designed with a generous palm swell for comfort and a micro textured finish for traction and security in a variety of grips. A thin taper toward the blade allows for use in a pinch grip and a bird beak pommel prevents slipping of the back end of the handle. Scales are secured to the tang via 416 stainless custom fasteners heat treated to 40 Rc and black oxide finished. Handwashing is recommended.

Sheath: Comes with a high quality leather blade cover for transport.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
