Bradford Knives 8" Chef Stonewashed AEB-L Micro Textured Black G10 Kitchen Knife

Bradford Knives has brought their singular design process and refined construction into the kitchen with their 8" Chef knife. This Chef knife offers a classic French-style cutting tool with modern materials and construction. This version comes with a satin Stonewashed, Bohler AEB-L blade, Micro Textured 3D Black G10 handles and black oxide stainless steel hardware.

Blade: Full tang construction gives the 8" Chef both durability and balance while the 2.5 mm blade stock, full flat grind and distal taper all provide exceptional slicing performance. The AEB-L blade steel offers solid performance for food prep, in the kitchen or in the field, with just under 7.5" of razor sharp cutting edge. The satin stonewashed finish hides wear from use while looking great.

Handle: Black G10 handle scales are 3D contoured with a generous palm swell for comfort and security in a variety of grips with a thin taper toward the blade for pinch grip use. The swell along with the micro textured on the scales offer a secure and comfortable grip for all manner of chopping tasks. The scales are secured to the tang via 416 stainless custom fasteners heat treated to 40 Rc and black oxide finished. Handwashing is recommended.

Sheath: Comes with a high quality leather blade cover for transport.

Bohler AEB-L: Originally developed for razor blades and described as a stainless 52100, AEB-L takes a very fine edge, is easy to sharpen and has good corrosion resistance. Offers good edge retention with excellent stability (resistance to rolling and chipping) which allows for a thinner edge and better cutting performance. Sandvik 13C26 is a copy of AEB-L.
