The Bradford Guardian3 is a compact, American made, everyday carry fixed blade that makes a perfect belt-carry companion for daily urban or outdoor use. Built to replace the modern EDC folding knife, the Guardian3 has a compact size that is easy to carry while still providing plenty of edge for your cutting needs. This version of the Guardian3 comes with a fully flat ground, black DLC coated CPM 3V blade and 3D Black Micarta handle scales.

Blade: Made from ultra tough, +3.5 mm thick CPM 3V, drop point blade is fully flat ground for excellent slicing performance with over three inches of razor sharp cutting edge. Classic and utilitarian, the drop point works well for a variety of tasks including piercing and detail work with added control provided via the full size index finger choil and spine jimping. The blade is outfitted with a durable, black Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating that is corrosion resistant and discreetly non-reflective while shrugging off wear from use.

Handle: Dual Micarta scales are supported by the full tang construction and are easily removable for cleaning and maintenance. Milled with a full 3D contour, the scales are comfortable and ergonomic while offering a secure grip. Utilizing the forward finger choil allows for a four finger grip even with the more compact handle design. The scales are secured to the tang via black oxide finished 416 stainless custom fasteners heat treated to 40 Rc for durable security. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel has a hole for lanyard attachment for added retention.

Carries via a horizontal carry, stitched black leather belt sheath.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
