The Guardian5.5 from Bradford Knives is a custom fixed blade built to handle every task from Bushcraft to the battlefield. The G5.5 blends the design of the G4.5 Bushcrafter with the larger size of the G5 delivering good length and weight for chopping and martial use. This design forgoes the iconic Bradford finger choil, replacing it with a full, 3D contoured handle that provides a variety of comfortable grip options This version comes in tough, wear resistant Stonewashed CPM-3V tool steel, a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts, and 3D Black Canvas Micarta with black oxide stainless steel hardware.

Blade: Full tang construction paired with sabre ground, ultra tough CPM-3V tool steel makes the Guardian 5.5 a durable and reliable cutting tool perfect for serious outdoor use. The high height sabre grind offers a good balance of cutting performance and durability. The grind leaves the tip strong for piercing and drilling with the point. The heavy stonewashed finish is rugged and hides wear from use.

Handle: Black canvas Micarta handle scales are 3D contoured with a generous palm swell for comfort and security in a variety of grips. An index cutout creates an integral guard which pairs with aggressive spine jimping to keep the knife secure in-hand during use. A big flare at the pommel locks the hand in offering a nice, comfortable grip for even XL hands. A generous hole at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment. The scales are secured to the tang via 416 stainless custom fasteners heat treated to 40 Rc and black oxide finished.

Sheath: Carries via a double stitched, brown leather sheath with insert and belt loop for vertical carry.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
