The Tighe Breaker model from custom maker Brian Tighe is a modern, gentleman's tactical pocket knife. Progressive knife designs are Mr. Tighe's forte and the organic lines of the Tighe Breaker are a testament to his unique eye to knife design. An integral construction keeps the lines of this knives very clean, while the ZircuTi handle and new, Damacore DC18N, Damascus blade make this knife functional art that stands out from the crowd.

Blade: The Damacore blade glides on Brian's STBS (Sealed Thrust Bearings System) for some of the smoothest operation on the planet and deploys via dual thumb studs or the index flipper. A compound ground Spear Point blade provides an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance as well as strong visual lines to complement the overall design of the knife.

Handle: A solid piece of Zircu-Ti (Zirconium & Titanium Mokume gane) is milled to create the integral handle. The fluted pattern on the sides give the knife a very organic and futuristic look. The milled handles and finger grooves provide excellent security in the hand. Built into the handle is a tough button lock used to hold the blade open. Near the button lock is a custom pivot with Zirconium pivot collars for a subtle contrast. The pommel end has a contoured milled channel for lanyard attachment.

Damacore DC18N: Standard Damasteel is a high hardness, high corrosion resistant steel that combines two martensitic stainless steels - RWL 34 and PMC 27 - in various patterns that, when etched, create the designs seen in the blade. This delivers a blade that has striking looks and modern performance. Damacore DC18N offers a core of Nitrogen enriched N11X that delivers enhanced corrosion resistance, strength, ductility, wear resistance and hardness. Composition of N11X is comparable to that of Bohler's Vanax steel.
