Blade: Stonewashed D2 tool steel comes in a high hollow ground cleaver for excellent cutting performance and strength. A hole near the tip offers a stylistic nod to the classic fixed blade inspiration, while a bearing pivot gives fast deployment and smooth operation.

Handle: Comprised of a gray anodized aluminum front slab and stonewashed steel frame, the streamlined ergonomic handle is comfortable and secure with added traction from the G10 on lays. A full length back spacer comes coated with antique bronze titanium, matching the hardware and lanyard tube. Lock operation is smooth and solid for safe use.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
