Details
The Buck Endeavor USA built fixed blade has a tactical look with enough belly to be a great all-around camp knife. The 622 Endeavor is lightweight, well-balanced and built for tough jobs.
The Blade: This is a full tang of Buck's world famous heat-treated 420HC steel that's been given a matte gray bead-blast finish. It is a clip point style, albeit with a drop belly great for skinning and slicing cuts. Its partial serrations will come in handy cutting through rope or fibrous materials. Right around 4.5 inches of cutting edge should take care of most jobs around camp.
The Handle: Heavy duty injection-molded Nylon handle scales are black, grooved and medium textured for a solid grip. There is some nice jimping on the spine for thumb placement and an integral guard to protect your fingers when cutting. The scales are attached via two torx screw bolts. A rounded pommel extends a bit past the scales and has two drilled lanyard holes for attaching cordage.
Included in the Endeavor package is a heavy duty black polyester belt sheath with snap closure for safe carry. A solid knife brand new from the Buck Factory that looks to go anywhere you do.
