Blade: The CPM-S45VN clip point blade has a hollow grind delivering a thin, razor edge and fine point making it a top-notch hunting knife and practical for outdoor use. Developed for enhanced balance, S45VN is easy to maintain and is ideal for the Fixed Ranger. Bos heat treat delivers optimal performance and reliability.
Handle: In the classic style the Fixed Ranger has a brass pommel and guard with contrasting black Micarta spacers framing the handle. This limited edition features a premium Ironwood handle that looks and feels great. The knife is well-balanced in the hand and provides exceptional comfort during extended use. Includes Certificate of Authenticity.
Sheath: Includes USA made distressed black leather belt sheath.
CPM-S45VN: An evolution in Crucible's S30-series, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35VN and offers an upgrade to Elmax with better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and sharpness with similar edge retention.
