The Buck Nighthawk Hunter is a heavy duty fixed blade survival knife designed to withstand the rigors of heavy use. The razor sharp full tang blade is made from Buck's 420HC stainless steel with a Sniper Gray Cerakote finish that is not only durable, but non-reflective and corrosion resistant. The handle has a tough nylon core with rubberized Dynaflex over-mold for traction and comfort. For situations where failure is not an option the Nighthawk Hunter is a choice you can count on.

Blade: The nearly ¹⁄₄" thick, full tang, Paul Bos heat treated 420HC blade is coated in Sniper Gray poly-ceramic Cerakote for a stealthy, non-reflective look. The high hollow grind slices with ease and power while the spear point profile is equipped with a generous top swedge enhancing the piercing performance for both utility and defensive use. Dual fullers on the flats of the blade add balance and aesthetic style.

Handle: The dual polymer handle is comfortable, ergonomic and tough as nails. The core of the handle is thermo-molded nylon molded directly to the full tang of the blade for durability while the forward grip and thumb ramp are equipped with Dynaflex rubber for comfort and traction under the most adverse conditions. The integral guard and thumb ramp offer excellent security and control while still allowing multiple grip positions.

Carries via the included heavy-duty MOLLE compatible nylon sheath with a front accessory pouch.

Bos 420HC: Buck's standard blade material approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of a stainless steel. The exclusive Bos heat-treat process delivers a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability and ease of sharpening. For best performance blades are hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.
