The blade sports a hollow grind and nearly full length swedge giving the Impact powerful slicing and piercing performance while Paul Bos heat treat enhances performance for improved edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness. The button operated automatic action is fast and decisive for one hand operation.

Handle: Stylish and high performance, the twill carbon fiber handle scales ride over black stainless steel liners for a rock solid platform with a simple and ergonomic design. Both the button and safety slide are finished in an eye-catching copper coating while the rest of the hardware is matte black. Slide the safety switch to 'red' and you know the Impact is ready for action while the button lock delivers secure and reliable lockup for safe use. Includes magnetic gift box and certificate of authenticity.

It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
