Blade: Made from BOS heat treated S35VN, the drop point blade is equipped with a mid-height hollow grind delivering powerful slicing performance while retaining toughness at the spine. Jimping at the forward portion of the spine facilitates enhanced control while doing skinning or caping tasks. The +3.5" blade is optimized with a thin, slicing hollow grind to handle game processing tasks and opens via a generous thumb stud. An integral guthook at the tip makes short work of simple skinning tasks, saving the cutting edge for detail work or heavier work.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
