The Buck 119 Special has been around for over 75 years but is still a stalwart member of the Buck line. Originally hand built by father and son team of Hoyt and Al Buck, today this classic is still a as popular as ever offering excellent performance for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. The large clip point blade can be used to pierce, get into tight places and other delicate detail work while Cocobolo wood handles are generous and comfortable for multiple grips.

Blade: The classic clip point profile hunter is built with pride from Buck's famous, Bos heat-treated 420HC stainless steel and satin finished. Six inched of blade provides plenty of hollow ground, razor sharp edge for the 119 to be capable of everything from heavy skinning tasks to slicing up vegetables around the fire. The hollow grind delivers optimal cutting performance while being durable at the spine and easy to maintain in the field.
Handle: Beautiful Cocobolo wood handle scales fit over the tang with brass guard and pommel to either end outfitted with black Micarta spacer highlights. Subtle finger grooves provide added security while the overall neutral design allows for multiple grip options for added utility.
Carries via a Genuine Black Leather belt sheath for carry.
420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With Paul Bos heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
