The large EXK or LEXK SFL (Slab FrameLock) is a solid custom creation from South African custom knife maker Trevor Burger. This titanium frame lock version is more robust compared to the standard EXK, it still retains the original clean lines and streamlined profile. This is an excellent and easy to carry everyday cutting tool that can tackle some serious use. Attention to detail and precision fit and finish make this a desirable piece for users and collectors alike. This version comes with a polished Damasteel spear point blade, ceramic bearing pivot and GR5 titanium handle construction.

Blade: The polished Damasteel blade comes in a wide, utilitarian spear point with a shallow hollow grind for exceptional slicing and piercing performance. The LEXK is equipped with 3.25 inch blade offering a solid three inches of cutting edge. The blade deploys via a top flipper tab with jimping that allows for a slow, "manual" rotation deployment or a faster "flipper" operation with a ceramic bearing pivot offering silky smooth operation and lightening fast deployment when you need it.

Handle: The rugged integral titanium Slab Frame Lock is equipped with a hardened steel lock face insert for smooth operation, rock solid lockup and secure operation for the life of the knife. Blue anodized pivot collars, floating back spacer and pocket clip add a touch of color giving it a classy look. The handle slabs are lightly contoured and are bead blasted for a matte gray finish and subtle texture. Ships in a zippered nylon pouch with Certificate of Authenticity.

Damasteel: A high hardness, high corrosion resistant steel that combines two martensitic stainless steels - RWL34 and PMC27 - in unique patterns that, when etched, create the designs seen on the blade. Damasteel delivers a blade that is very eye-catching and has performance in the realm of RWL34, similar to CPM154.
