Byrd Robin 2 Titanium Satin Plain Edge 10TIP2

The Robin 2 from Byrd Knife is a small watch-pocket size tool inspired by the famous Spyderco Dragonfly designed for light duty. Its premium Ti handle is sturdy and strong for durability over the long haul. This version features a matte finished titanium handle with satin straight plain cutting edge blade and is fully ambidextrous.

The Blade: Just shy of 2 inches of usable, freshly sharpened cutting edge for the Robin 2 with a plain cutting edge. The spear shape is fully flat ground and comes to a piercing point creating a tough cutter with exemplary slicing abilities. Its comet shaped hole opener makes for easy one hand, left or right, opening with smooth bronze washer action. The satin finish is classic and will develop its own unique look over time. 

The Handle: Beautiful gray titanium is smoothed around the edges with grooved accents creating the perfect grip. It has a forward choil for choking up on finer cutting tasks with all Torx construction. A lanyard hole allows for adding your own personal touch. A super strong lock back mechanism keeps the blade in place while you work. 

Includes a silver stainless steel pocket clip that can be attached in any of the four pre-drilled positions creating absolutely ambidextrous carry. 

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440C. Sharpening should be a breeze.
