The Small Game Getter is build with bird & trout knife DNA but is durable enough to handle much more. This version comes with a satin finished Elmax blade and Natural Linen Micarta handle scales.

Blade: With the slim and nimble build of a traditional bird and trout knife, the Small Game Getter is also sturdy enough general utility and field work. The blade is made from premium Bohler Elmax stainless steel for excellent outdoor performance. Equipped with a full flat grind, the blade has excellent cutting performance with balanced durability. Tapering to a fine yet robust tip this knife handles fine detail work and piercing with ease.

Handle: Polished and contoured Natural Linen Micarta handle scales offer a comfortable and ergonomic grip with excellent control in the hand. The handle-weighted balance makes the knife nimble and fast in the hand and helps reduce fatigue during long use. The scales are attached via hollow steel pins including one at the pommel for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a high quality stitched leather belt sheath.

Bohler Elmax: Elmax has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. Elmax also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid corrosion (rust) by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Elmax has very similar performance to M390 and is used interchangeably by Microtech.
