Custom knife maker Craig Camerer is well known for his high quality Balisong knives, but he also makes a fantastic fixed blade. This custom trailing point is made from forged 8670 carbon steel with red palm wood handle scales and a tooled leather sheath.
Brand new directly from maker Craig Camerer
Blade: The forged 8670 carbon steel blade is exceptionally tough and easily takes a razor sharp edge. The stout 3/16" thick stock and full flat grind provide strength and slicing performance for woodcraft or food prep tasks with good belly and a subtle trailing point profile ideal for hunting and skinning.
Handle: A full tang construction delivers a well-balanced blade with good heft and control for heavy cutting or fine work. Contoured and polished red palm wood scales are comfortable and ergonomic for extended use and offer a handsome look for visual appeal.
Sheath: Carries via a leather belt sheath.
8670 Carbon Steel: Used for large, industrial circular saw blades, 8670 is a simple low-alloy carbon steel that takes a fine edge with high toughness. Low edge retention and corrosion resistance.
