Built on the “132” frame pattern, the Baby Butterbean is a classic slip joint folder. Also known as the Baby Canoe, this pattern is a smaller version of the Canoe with spear and pen blades at opposite ends of the canoe shaped handle. This version comes with smooth black and red Micarta covers, polished Tru-Sharp blades and polished nickel silver bolsters and shield.

Blade: Two flat ground, polished satin blades sit at opposite ends of the handle a large spear with long pull and a pen blade with nail nick. This smaller version of the canoe is ideal for light daily cutting task and has smooth and snappy slip joint operation from open to close.

Handle: Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame smooth, red and black Micarta covers for a classic and stylish look. A phenolic resin based composite, Micarta offers visual appeal with the durability and weather resistance of a modern composite. The front handle sports a polished shield.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment, it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
