Details

The dual Copperhead bolsters of this knife give it the iconic look from which it gets its name: The Case Canoe. The equal-end, slip joint knife pattern sports dual blades and multiple cover options. This version comes with smooth black Sycamore wood covers, flat ground, polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades and polished nickel silver bolsters and bow tie shield.

Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company, USA.

Blades: The dual-end Canoe pattern comes with two Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades with polished, flat grinds for strength and cutting performance. The main Spear blade is large for heavy utility use. The opposite end is equipped with a plain Pen blade for fine tasks and both have generous nail nicks for opening.

Handle: Symmetrical polished nickel silver bolsters frame stunning smooth black sycamore wood with plenty of figuring for visual appeal and a warm, organic feel in the hand. The covers are fitted with brass pins to brass liners with the Case Bow Tie shield on the front. The sturdy back springs offer simple, smooth slip joint operation for use.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
