Details

Reminiscent of an actual gun stock, the large Case Gunstock pattern is based on the Bartender's Knife with a "130" pattern frame and two-blade configuration. This version comes with Smooth Natural Curly Maple Burl Wood covers and two satin polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades: one spear and one pen.

Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., USA.

Blades: Dual Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades originate from the "barrel" end of the gun stock frame. Both are satin polish finished and full flat grind with the larger spear point blade handling the heavy work and the spear-like pen blade tackling fine detail work. Both blades open via long pull nail nicks.

Handle: Smooth Natural Curly Maple covers are rugged and timeless with a warm, natural feel and visually striking, rippled look. Framed by nickel silvers bolsters the scales are attached to brass liners with brass pins in the traditional style and feature a "Case XX USA" embossed shield on the front.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
