The Half Whittler '08WH is a two bladed version of the Whittler '08 pattern with Clip master blade on one end and a pen blade on the other The Whittler pattern has been around for nearly 80 years, and they put a lot of wood chips of the floor. This version comes with Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades.

Blades: Per the established Half Whittler pattern, this folder features a full-size clip point at one end and a compact pen blade at the other. Both blades are made from bright polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel with shallow hollow grinds and nail nick openers. The blades open smoothly from the closed position with a solid snap from the back spring keeping the blade secure and ready to use.

Handle: Second Cut Autumn Bone covers have an organic grooved texture and warm, Fall tones. Stylish and attractive, the covers are framed by polished nickel silvers bolsters with a matching Case Bar Shield. The scales are attached to brass liners with brass pins in the traditional style.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
