Details

The Stockman is believed to be a scaled down version of the Cattleman pattern and shares similarities in the design. The Medium Stockman is the second largest of this pattern and comes with a main clip point blade and two auxiliary blades. This version features handsome, rugged Rogers Corn Cob Jig Antique Bone covers and polished Tru-Sharp blades.

Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co, USA.

Blade: The Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades are finished in a bright polish and are each equipped with a generous nail nick for opening. This version comes with the traditional Stockman Trio: a long clip point main blade, with a Spey and Sheepsfoot blade as backup. All three come with a shallow hollow grind for optimal slicing performance.

Handle: Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame warm Antique Bone covers with Rogers Corn Cob Jigged texture. The covers are fitted with brass pins to brass liners with sturdy back springs for simple, smooth slip joint operation. The front handle sports a polished Bow Tie shield.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
