Details
Designed by Case Legend Tom Hart, the Copperlock was an entirely new pattern released in 1997 that brought together the elements of older patterns: the Trapper & Copperhead. Great for daily carry or as an addition to any Case collection, the Copper lock is rugged, handsome, and ready for use. This mini version comes with Rogers Corn Cob jig blue bone covers, a polished Tru-Sharp clip point blade.
Brand new, direct from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.
Blade: The sub-3 inch Tru-Sharp stainless-steel blade comes with a bright polish satin and sports a long pull nail nick for easy opening of the blade. The pattern is a long clip point blade with a full flat grind for an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance.
Handle: Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame rustic Rogers Corn Cob Jig blue bone covers with a compact, easy to carry handle that delivers visual appeal and a solid grip in the hand. Construction is traditional brass liner with a sturdy back spring offering simple, smooth mid-back lock operation for secure use. The front cover sports a chevron Case USA shield.
Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides exceptional corrosion resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment, it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
