The Panama Trapper is an extra large version of this pattern, approaching the folding hunter in size, ready for heavy use or as an ideal standout collector's piece. This version comes with polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades, matching nickel silver bolsters and Antique Bone covers with Rogers Corn Cob Jig.

Blades: The dual blade Trapper pattern is delivered in jumbo size with a full-size clip point and skinner blade both at the same end of the handle. Both blades are made from bright polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades with durable flat grinds and nail nick openers. The blades open smoothly from the closed position with snappy walk and talk.

Handle: The rugged Antique Bone covers are fit between two sets of polished nickel silver bolsters and have a great in-hand feel with Rogers Corn Cob jigged texture and plenty of area for even the largest of hands. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports a Case Bow Tie shield while dual stainless steel back springs deliver smooth slip joint operation with solid half and full stops.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
