The tried and true Case Sod Buster is a classic slip joint pattern built robust for functional utility. This version is the smaller of the two Sod Busters, the Jr. and comes with rugged and handsome Peach Seed Jigged Amber Bone covers and a Chrome Vanadium carbon steel blade.

Blade: The single skinner blade has a subtle clip and full flat grind and is made from Chrome Vanadium carbon steel with a mirror polish finish. The full flat grind provides a good combination of durability and cutting performance. This model has a strong back spring with smooth slip joint operation.

Handle: The rugged Amber bone covers run the full length of the handle and have a great in-hand feel with Peach Seed Jigged texture for traction. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports an embossed Case oval script shield with smooth, simple and secure slip-joint operation.

Case Chrome Vanadium: CV or Chrome Vanadium is Case Knives carbon steel (1086 or 1095) with small amounts of Chrome and Vanadium added for grain refinement and better hardening response. CV steel is very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
