Blade: The single skinner blade has a subtle clip and full flat grind and is made from Tru-Sharp stainless steel with a mirror polish finish. The full flat grind provides a good combination of durability and cutting performance. This model has a strong back spring with smooth slip joint operation.

Handle: The bolsterless construction of the Sod Buster showcases the eye-catching Ocean Blue Peach Seed Jigged Bone covers which are visually appealing as well as offering a high traction texture. The covers are fitted with brass pins to brass liners and the front cover sports a Case Diamond Shield. Sturdy back springs offer simple, smooth slip joint operation for use.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
