Details

The classic small Swell Center Jack ('25-1/2) is back from the Case Vault for a 2022 limited production run. Dating back to at least the 1940s, this small two-blade Jack was a ubiquitous everyday carry tool in industrial and agricultural environments. The compact size, light weight and iconic soda bottle shape make this as popular for collectors and users today as it was in decades past. This version comes with two 1095 carbon steel blades, clip and pen, and pocket worn gray Crandall jig bone covers.

Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.

Blades: The carbon steel blades are finished in a bright satin polish with generous nail nicks for opening. The main blade is a larger clip point for utility work while the small pen blade handles detail work or lighter tasks. Both come with shallow hollow grinds for optimal slicing performance.

Handle: In classic Case style the handle consists of solid steel back springs, brass liners, and polished nickel silver pins and bolsters. The bolsters frame handsome gray bone covers with Crandall jig and a pocket worn finish offering traction, style and a tactile feel. The sturdy back springs offer simple, smooth slip joint operation with a solid half stop for safety. A Case "Traditions" shield decorates the front.

1095 Carbon Steel: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Similar to Case Chrome Vanadium.
