The Midge from custom knife maker Chad Nell is a simple, (double)detent slip joint top flipper that offers sleek style and excellent performance in a compact, non-locking folder. The epitome of a gentleman's carry folder this knife is packed with custom details and while offering a highly functional EDC cutting tool. This piece has a hand rubbed satin, AEB-L spear blade, jeweled titanium liners, vintage black linen Micarta handle scales, custom anodized titanium hardware, abalone inlaid front pivot with polished collar and Lava Lamp Timascus clip.

Blade: A simple, sleek pierce-y spear point blade of AEB-L stainless steel is finished in a striking hand rubbed satin. A fine point and shallow, high hollow grind offer exceptional performance while the ball bearing pivot provides smooth operation with fast or controlled opening via the low profile jimped top flipper.

Handle: Thick titanium liners support classy black linen Micarta scales that are subtly contoured for comfort in the hand. The clean, simple and ergonomic handle design with a form factor not much larger than an 84 mm Swiss Army Knife. Inside the liners are engine turned jeweled for a truly custom feel. A double detent mechanism gives solid full stops at open and closed positions with smooth flipper operation. The simple black scales highlight the custom anodized hardware, abalone inlaid front pivot with polished collar and Timascus back spacer.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, 3D machined Timascus pocket clip.
