Blade: Built from .220 inch thick premium S35VN steel to withstand whatever the user puts it through and cut like a champ. It's hollow ground with an upper swedge grind done in a utilitarian drop point profile perfect for cutting, slicing and chopping whatever is in its path. Expect a little over 6 inches of shaving sharp, polished part serrated cutting edge that will be easy to maintain in the field. This version features a Black KG Gun Kote finish offering some of the toughest non-reflective and corrosion resistant coatings known to man.

Handle: Composed of extremely durable, textured and sandblasted black canvas Micarta the handles look and feel great. They offer a solid, secure grip when dry or wet. As moisture sinks into the Micarta the canvas fibers increase traction in the grip so it stays secure in the hand. A nylon lanyard is attached to the pommel end.

CPM-S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
